Article: Vitamin A supplements for preventing mortality, illness, and blindness in children aged under 5: systematic review and meta-analysis

Vit.A Study sess.15:  Meta-analysis study of Vit.A supplementation with children age 5 and under
Click on the underlined link above to read some really interesting studies done on Vit A supplementation and uses for children under the age of 5.  They conclude that no further studies need to be done as Vit.A supplementation was found to decrease mortality and morbidity rates in relation to child-diarrhoea mild, moderate and severe) and measles (which are the 2 causes of child mortality in under-developed countries).  Please always be cautious when giving children any supplementation. Consult a doctor and get the necessary tests done before giving any supplements to a child.  I do not condole the use of supplementation on children, and this article is not a suggestion to start giving your child supplements.     Enjoy, and thanks for reading. Be aware and eat with care 🙂
