Calendula article potential medicinal uses
Click the underlined article link above to learn more about Calendula or Pot Marigold 🙂
So, because I did lots of gardening today and planted some  Calendula officinalis L. or Calendula, I wanted to look into the benefits of this beautiful, bright orange flower.  I found this article in my school library archives and I feel its a really good overview of the potential beneficial effects of eating and using Calendula flower petals and leaves.  The author talks about his experience when using Calendula and the conflicting information of it\’s uses from the FDA\’s research.  I think most people would prefer to use the least amount of ingredients possible to treat day-to-day aliments, and Calendula is one every gardener should have on-hand.  The author also talks about the link between Calendula\’s medicinal components and potential uses for different cancers. I hope you enjoy this article.  Thanks for reading, and be aware and eat with care 🙂
